What is a sustainable wood business?

When a cooperage (the business that builds and prepares oak barrels for a distillery) has a defective barrel or receives returned barrels from the distillery for recycling, KY Bourbon Barrel steps in and repurposes those barrels into unique, hand-crafted art.

How are your barrels different from others?

The barrel top craze has boomed. Many re-sellers are just using pressed-wood planks in circular shapes to create their pieces. KY Bourbon Barrel only uses reclaimed heads/staves/barrels/pieces from an actual Kentucky cooperage to create our sustainable art.
